You can backup your data in few different ways:
If your computer is connected to Fisheries and Wildlife domain [To verify goto My Computer (Right click) >> Properties, click on Computer name tab, under Domain Name: Find MSUFWHOME] you can store your data in L:\, M:\ or R:\ drives. (Depending on your role in the department you can have access to all or some of these). Read more about the L:\, M:\ R:\ drives here and here.
If it is your personal computer or a computer that is not hooked to Fisheries and Wildlife domain, then you can create backup in My Documents folder, read more here.
