We are taking inventory of the software installed by us on different personal/lab machines and would like to know the details about the hardware, make, model etc. and the software you are having on your system, like version number etc.
To find the make/model information Click Start, right click My Computer, click on Properties tab, a small window opens with Make and Model information.
To find the version number of your software please click on Start Menu, go to Control Panel. Once you are in the control panel please click on Add/Remove Programs (for XP) or on Programs and Features (for Vista), here you will be able to find all the software installed on your computer. If you click on any of the software names the tab will expand and you will find a link below the software name "Click here for support information". Click on the link to get the version number. Please do fill in the Version number of the software if you have it installed on your machine, else leave it blank.
We are currently taking software inventory to estimate the number of licenses we have purchased and distributed hence mac software are not listed, Mac users please dont feel discriminated against :). If you have a machine that does not use the following software fill out the hardware inventory part only.
